Placements24 seeks an enthusiastic Early Learning Center Assistant Teacher to support lead teachers in our Klerksdorp facility. You will help implement age-appropriate activities, supervise play, and assist with daily routines to create a safe, nurturing learning space for young children.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; early childhood coursework is a plus.
• Previous experience with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
• Familiarity with early childhood development principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate educational activities.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety.
• Support children with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and naps.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Observe children's behavior and development, providing input to lead teachers for assessment.
• Communicate positively with children, colleagues, and parents, fostering a supportive atmosphere.
