Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a compassionate and experienced Child Psychologist specializing in Early Intervention to join our Soweto team. You will provide essential assessments, diagnostics and therapeutic interventions for young children and families in a supportive Gauteng clinical setting.

Applicants must hold a Doctoral degree in Clinical Child or Developmental Psychology and be HPCSA-registered. A hybrid work model and dedicated professional development opportunities are offered to advance

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Child Psychology or Developmental Psychology is required.
• Registered with HPCSA as a Psychologist.
• Specialized training in early intervention for young children.
• Proficiency with standardized assessment tools and therapeutic modalities for children.
• Excellent diagnostic, clinical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for infants and young children.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Provide play therapy and other interventions to address developmental and behavioral concerns.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers and other professionals for holistic care.
• Provide psychoeducation and support to families to promote child well-being.
