Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Early Intervention Specialist in Soweto to support children with developmental delays. You will assess needs, develop IFSPs, and provide direct therapeutic services in collaboration with families and a multidisciplinary team.

You'll work to promote development across cognitive, motor, communication, and social-emotional domains, educating parents, documenting progress, and ensuring coordinated care within Gauteng province.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience with infants and young children with developmental delays or disabilities.
  • Knowledge of early intervention principles, practices, and assessment tools.
  • Strong understanding of child development across various domains.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
