Job summary

Placements24 seeks a dedicated Pediatric Nanny and Development Specialist for a family in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will provide nurturing care for two children aged 2 and 4, developing cognitive, social, and emotional skills at home with occasional hybrid planning support.

Responsibilities include creating learning activities, monitoring milestones, preparing healthy meals, and maintaining routines. A background in Early Childhood Education and First Aid is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of professional nanny/childcare experience with toddlers/preschoolers.
• Certification or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of child psychology and developmental milestones.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications are essential.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Patience, adaptability and love for working with children.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a structured routine.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Proficiency in English.
• Legally eligible to work in South Africa.
• Willingness to undergo background checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise play indoors and outdoors ensuring safety.

• Assist with routines including bath time, dressing and sleep schedules.
