Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic ECD Practitioner to lead a Welkom-based classroom, fostering early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills through play. You will create a safe, stimulating environment and collaborate with families to support each child’s development.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Early Childhood Development (ECD) at NQF level 4 or 5.
• Experience with young children in an ECD setting is essential.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a nurturing and energetic Early Childhood Development (ECD) Practitioner to lead a classroom of young children in Welkom . This role involves creating a stimulating and safe environment where preschoolers can explore, learn, and grow through play-based activities. You will be instrumental in fostering early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills, preparing children for their primary school journey in the Free State province. This is a hands-on position requiring creativity and a deep understanding of child development principles.
