Job summary

Network Finance seeks an experienced E-Plan Designer to develop precise electrical designs and schematics for advanced automation projects. You will support control-system concepts and hardware selection, and prepare manufacturing and installation documentation.

Responsibilities include providing technical support during project execution and commissioning, ensuring high-quality, standards-compliant results in a dynamic project-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in automation and electrical design environments.
• Familiar with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and panel layouts.
• Knowledge of SA electrical standards, including SANS 10142, and international standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; attention to detail.

Our client, a well-established engineering and automation specialist, is seeking an E-Plan Designer to support the design and implementation of advanced automation systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed electrical designs and schematics using E-Plan, assisting with control system concepts and hardware selection, preparing manufacturing and installation documentation, and providing technical support during project execution and commissioning phases. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies and a dynamic project-driven environment.

Education:

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Minimum 5 years' experience within automation and electrical design environments.
• Proficiency in E-Plan electrical design software.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation systems and electrical design principles.
• Knowledge of South African electrical standards, including SANS 10142, and international standards.
• Experience developing detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Exposure to automotive, manufacturing, or industrial automation projects will be advantageous.
