Job summary

Communicate Finance in Midrand is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for advanced engineering applications, and to create schematics, wiring layouts and harness designs. You will also develop and maintain 3D electrical models and BOMs.

The role requires 7+ years in electrical design, strong CAD skills (Siemens NX preferred), and familiarity with Mentor Graphics Vesys and PDM systems, collaborating with suppliers and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' experience in Electrical Design Engineering.
• Experience developing electrical schematics, wiring systems, and harness designs.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software; Siemens NX experience will be advantageous.
• Experience with electrical schematic design software such as Mentor Graphics Vesys will be advantageous.
• Experience working with Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical components and system integration principles.
