You will work with the marketing department to grow brand awareness, engage online communities, and learn through mentorship and hands-on projects in a fast-paced digital environment.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing, preferably within an e-commerce context.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of grammar and tone.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain company social media profiles across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Create, curate, and schedule engaging, high-quality content (text, images, video) that aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries, comments, and messages, responding promptly and professionally.
• Assist in the development and execution of social media marketing campaigns to promote products and drive traffic to the e-commerce website.
• Track and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new content ideas and campaign strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices in e-commerce marketing.
• Assist in managing online product listings and descriptions on the e-commerce platform.
• Support other marketing tasks and projects as needed by the marketing department in Tembisa, Gauteng.
