Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive E-commerce Marketing Coordinator to support digital marketing for Port Elizabeth-based campaigns. You will help manage social media content, assist with email campaigns, and optimize online advertising to drive traffic and sales.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create assets, perform market research, and report on performance. This role offers growth in a dynamic online business within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably with exposure to e-commerce or digital marketing.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic understanding of digital marketing principles.
• Good organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with email marketing platforms and/or social media management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of social media content calendars and posting schedules.
• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with the online community.
• Support the creation and deployment of email marketing campaigns, including list management and performance tracking.
• Help manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and social media channels.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for the e-commerce business.
• Collaborate with the design team to create marketing assets such as banners, social media graphics, and email templates.
