Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a confident Behaviour Support Assistant for a SEN school (KS3–KS5) in a full-time temporary role. You will support behaviour, engagement and emotional regulation, working with teaching and pastoral staff to deliver interventions and assist with off-site activities.

Prior SEN school experience is essential and the role requires adaptability and resilience. Mainstream-only experience or sports coaching backgrounds are not suitable.

Qualifications

• Provide in-class behaviour support across multiple lessons and departments.
• Respond quickly and professionally to behaviour support requests from staff.
• Deliver short-term, targeted interventions on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis.
• Support students with regulation, engagement and transitions.
• Assist with off-site activities, including swimming and outdoor learning.
• Follow changing timetables and priorities with flexibility and professionalism.
• Experience in a specialist SEN school is essential.
• Be physically active and able to support students with complex needs.
