Job summary

Mirna Butler Recruitment in Port Elizabeth is seeking a marketer to generate leads and convert prospects into customers. You will build strong client relationships, identify new opportunities, and strive to meet monthly sales targets.

Travel and after-hours involvement may be required. The ideal candidate holds a matric, a related marketing/sales qualification, and at least 2 years of direct sales experience; financial services experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
• Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years direct sales experience (financial services experience advantageous).
• Ability to plan effectively with strong operational thoroughness.
• Ability to work independently in a high‑pressure environment.
• Willing to work after hours, weekends and public holidays for promotional activities when required.
• Willingness to travel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
• Strong administration skills with attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Must reside in or be able to work in Port Elizabeth and be familiar with Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Actively generate leads and convert prospects into loyal customers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Identify new market opportunities and potential clients.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Represent the company at promotional events and sales campaigns.
• Complete all relevant administrative tasks accurately and on time.
• Provide regular sales updates and feedback to the Marketing Manager.
