Placements24 is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to lead a classroom in Paarl. You will deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and create a safe, stimulating learning environment that supports cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.

Responsibilities include observation and assessment of milestones, parent communications, and collaboration with staff to ensure a cohesive approach. A recognized ECE qualification and classroom experience are required.

Qualifications

• Recognized qualification in Early Childhood Education (Diploma or Degree).
• Proven experience as Early Childhood Teacher or similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and strong classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum.
• Create a safe, stimulating learning environment promoting exploration.
• Observe and assess children’s progress and maintain records.
• Communicate with parents about development and concerns.
• Foster positive relationships and support children’s social skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure cohesive teaching approaches.
