Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated and creative Early Years Practitioner to join a preschool in Polokwane. You will create a nurturing, engaging environment where young children explore, learn, and grow, delivering developmentally appropriate activities and supporting social and emotional skills.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare.
• Previous experience working with young children in a preschool setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute stimulating and educational activities aligned with the early years curriculum.
• Observe and document children's progress, identifying areas for further development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Provide individual support to children, addressing their unique needs and learning styles.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards.
