Job summary

DHL is seeking a GTW Duty Manager to oversee domestic sort and distribution operations, coordinate international check-ins, and maintain security and quality across the warehouse and staff. You will liaise with airlines and third-party agencies, organize day-to-day routing, and ensure accurate reporting.

The role requires 5+ years of supervisory experience in airline handling or warehouse management, and the ability to work rotating shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum post-matric qualification.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience managing 16–25 employees.
• Willing to work 4x4 rotational shifts.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in airline handling and warehouse management (3+ years).

Responsibilities

• Integrate quality into business to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Organise meetings to review shift performance.
• Maintain high quality of work at all times.
• Control and monitor security measures for safe operations.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports on time.
• Ensure DHL procedures are followed for shipments and sorting.
• Coordinate with service centres and ensure timely communication.
• Update network with flight information and delays as per DHL standards.
