Job summary

Fidelity Security Group (Pty) Ltd invites applications for a Duty Manager position based in Bloemfontein. Reporting to the CCBSA Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the workforce and ensure security officers perform efficiently.

The role requires Matric/Grade 12, PSIRA Grade A, at least 3 years in security, and strong leadership and planning abilities. Fluency in Afrikaans and English, computer literacy, and fitness to work shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 or higher with PSIRA Grade A registration.
• At least 3 years' experience in the security industry.
• People management experience required.
• Administration, interpersonal communication, and client liaison skills are required.
• Strong planning, leadership and organisational skills with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Fully computer literate and able to learn other software programs.
• Must be Medically Fit and able to work shifts.
• Must pass polygraph test quarterly and have a clear criminal record.
• Must be able to write reports and incidents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor posts, access control, CCTV operations, and guard performance.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies promptly.

• Conduct site patrols, inspections, and spot checks.

ADVERTISEMENT – CCBSA DUTY MANAGER

1 x Grade A DUTY MANAGER

The above position is vacant at Bloemfontein, reporting to the CCBSA Site Manager. The Duty Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workforce, ensuring that employees are performing their duties efficiently and effectively.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric certificate, or Grade 11, PSIRA Grade A registration and accreditation.
• At least 3 years' experience in the security industry
• People management experience.
• Administration, interpersonal communication, and client liaison skills are required.
• Strong planning, leadership, organisational skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Fully computer literate (Outlook, Excel, Word, What's App) and can work their way around and understand when being taught how to use other software programs
• Must be Medically Fit
• Must be able to work shifts
• Pass polygraph test quarterly
• Clear criminal record
• Must able to write reports and incidents

• Ensure posts are properly posted according to the roster.
• Monitor access control, CCTV operations, and guard performance.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies promptly.
• Collect, complete and deliver posting sheets as and when needed.

• Take preventive actions towards any suspicious activity
