Qualifications

• Act as the senior operational representative during assigned shifts.
• Ensure seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.
• Oversee lodge operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Guiding, and Maintenance.
• Conduct daily briefings and shift handovers.
• Supervise staff on duty, ensuring appearance, conduct and service etiquette.
• Support training, mentoring, and development of junior team members.
• Uphold health, safety and environmental standards, including wildlife protocols.
• Act as first responder during emergencies and ensure incident reporting.
• Complete daily operation reports, guest records and handover notes.
• Assist with stock control, cost awareness, and cash handling where applicable.
• Liaise with Reservations and Head Office regarding guest movements and requirements.

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and guest-focused Duty Manager to join a luxury lodge in Northern KwaZulu-Natal. This role requires strong administrative skills, lodge experience, and proficiency in Opera, with the ability to oversee daily operations and deliver exceptional guest service in a remote safari environment.

Package & Benefits

• Salary: R20,000 – R25,000 per month (depending on experience)
