Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a plant-based chemical engineering role.
- Experience with process control systems and instrumentation.
- Strong knowledge of chemical plant operations, safety regulations and environmental compliance.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor plant operations and KPIs to ensure optimal process performance.
- Conduct regular process audits and inspections to identify safety hazards and inefficiencies.
- Troubleshoot process upsets and equipment malfunctions with timely solutions.
- Lead initiatives for process improvement, cost reduction and yield enhancement.
- Develop and update SOPs and safety protocols.
- Provide technical support to operators and maintenance teams.
