Job summary

Placements24 is recruiting for a meticulous Quality Control Inspector for an on-site role in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. You will inspect raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods, using calibrated lab equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in a chemical manufacturing QC role, a solid understanding of ISO 9001 and GMP, and strong data-recording and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as QC Inspector/Technician in chemical manufacturing.
• Proficient with QC testing equipment and analytical tests.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and GMP.
• Excellent data recording and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• On-site in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
• Safety procedures in chemical laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
• Use calibrated lab equipment to conduct analyses.
• Verify compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Document inspection results in the quality management system.
• Identify and report non-conforming products.
• Collaborate with production to address quality issues.
• Maintain records of QC activities and batch records.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of QC equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QC procedures.
