Job summary

Key Recruitment Group is assisting a Muizenberg, Cape Town client in hiring a DTP Prepress Operator with Flexo and Digital expertise. You will prepare electronic files for plates, cutters and digital outputs, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple formats.

The role requires matriculation and a DTP certification, plus at least 1 year prepress experience and proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparing electronic files for the production of flexographic plates and cutters for label production.
• Preparing electronic files for the production of signage print and cut files for digital machines.
• Preparing internal printing/publishing requirements.
• Preparing clients’ artwork for proofs and for production of various types of labels by Digital and Flexo processes.
• Producing and updating customer designs.
• Understanding and setting up of artwork by following technical specifications and client requirements.
• Assisting operators with machine troubleshooting and technical support for digital and flexographic printing.
