Job summary

Colour Domain Printing is seeking a Junior DTP Operator / Shopfront Assistant in Durban to join our busy print shop. You will prepare artwork for print, coordinate orders and assist with printing and finishing, while directly supporting customers.

The ideal candidate has recently completed a DTP course, basic knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, plus strong attention to detail and a positive attitude. Training will be provided to develop skills on the job.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification or certification in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Matric / grade 12.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator; basic Photoshop and InDesign.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Junior DTP Operator / Shopfront Assistant

An ideal opportunity for someone who has recently completed a DTP course and would like to gain practical experience in a busy print-shop environment. You’ll work directly with customers, prepare artwork for print, coordinate orders and assist with printing and finishing.

Minimum requirements:

• A formal qualification or certification in Adobe Creative Suite
• Matric / grade 12
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Previous print-shop experience is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided.
