Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking a delivery driver for its 24hr Pharmacy in Parklands, Cape Town. The role ensures safe, timely delivery of prescription medications and healthcare products to residential homes, clinics and hospitals.

Requirements include at least 2 years delivery or courier experience, a Code 08 or 10 driving license, a valid PDP, and no traffic violations. You must be able to work shifts and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescription and OTC medications to residential homes, clinics, retirement homes, and hospitals
• Ensure urgent deliveries are prioritised
• Handle temperature sensitive and scheduled medication securely
• Ensure refrigerated medication/products have ice packs
• Loading vehicle carefully to ensure the safe delivery of parcels
• Obtain signatures and maintain proof-of-delivery
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare staff
• Relay customer concerns or queries to the Dispensary Manager
• Return undelivered or rejected items to the dispensary with the relevant documentation
• Ensure that the vehicle is cleaned regularly
• Ensure check sheet for deliveries are completed accurately
• Ensure the accurate number of parcels are confirmed beforehand
• Ensure that all duties allocated are carried out and completed
• Must be prepared to work shifts in order to meet the operational requirements of the department
