Job summary

Network Finance is recruiting a Divisional Accountant to join the finance team in Randburg. The role focuses on ownership of reporting, reconciliations, controls, and month-end processes, with a clear path to impact operational decision-making.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field advantageous.
• 2-5 years' accounting experience.
• Financial reporting and reconciliations experience.
• Accounts payable exposure.
• Audit support experience.
• Budgeting and forecasting exposure advantageous.
• Team leadership exposure beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
• Ensure transactions are captured accurately and in the correct accounting period
• Perform balance sheet, bank, and control account reconciliations
• Prepare and review payment runs
• Manage supplier queries and accounts payable processes
• Maintain supplier compliance documentation and BBBEE records
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
• Assist operational management with reporting and financial analysis
• Support internal and external audits
• Monitor and improve financial controls and processes
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost‑saving initiatives
• Support management with ad hoc financial tasks and reporting requirements.
