Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a route planning specialist to plan and track routes using market-leading planning software, driving efficiency and cost optimisation in line with supply chain objectives.

You will master route management, ensure data accuracy, generate daily adherence reports and KPI scorecards, and contribute to fleet design and long‑term network planning. This role demands 3-5 years in distribution/logistics and a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in distribution/logistics or similar.
• Strong understanding of logistics principles and data interpretation.
• Experience with planning systems and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain master routes including sequence, allocation, and vehicle/driver assignment.
• Ensure data accuracy through exception management and onboarding of new delivery points.
• Generate daily adherence reports and monthly KPI scorecards.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven cost reduction initiatives.
• Design fleet mix and model service-days for long-term network planning.
