Job summary

SET Recruitment Consultants is seeking a General Manager to oversee the Distribution Centre, driving operational excellence across Warehouse, Transport and Inventory. You will lead the team to deliver on KPIs, maintain compliance, and ensure a consistent customer experience across all outlets.

You will manage budgets, risk, safety and people development in a large, multi-site environment, with emphasis on continuous improvement and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Senior operational leadership required with multi-site experience.
• MBA an advantage.
• 8–10 years in a similar role within logistics or distribution management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage operations across Warehouse, Transport, Inventory, Facilities and Fleet.
• Translate strategic plans into defined operational plans and budgets.
• Provide operational leadership and ensure accurate controls.
• Drive KPI improvements and ensure compliance with policies and audits.
• Lead risk management, food safety and quality programs in the DC.
• Manage HR, training, and performance within the distribution centre.
