About the Role

This role is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient workflow, and managing a team of warehouse associates. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure efficient execution of receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory control to maintain accuracy.
• Implement and enforce all health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution center.
• Proven experience in managing and motivating warehouse teams.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management , shipping, and receiving.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant technology.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Certification on various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, is an advantage.
