Qualifications

• Must be able to work under direct supervision of a pharmacist and learn through the course

Responsibilities

• Assist with sale of Schedule 1 medicines under direct supervision
• Aid in compounding/preparation of non-sterile medicines per SOPs
• Unpack and merchandize stock and keep dispensary clean
• Follow up with patients on script tracking as requested
• Assist with call centre scripts and patient service calls
• Provide health information to individuals and promote wellbeing
• Assist with scheme authorisation of chronic, HIV/AIDS and oncology medications
• Report stock levels and discrepancies to the dispensary manager
