Placements24 is seeking a Director of Strategic Initiatives in Cape Town, Western Cape. You will identify, develop, and drive strategic projects, translating vision into actionable plans and delivering measurable impact.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership to manage multi-faceted, high-impact initiatives in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate has an MBA, 10+ years in strategy or management consulting, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams while navigating

Qualifications

• MBA, Finance, or related master’s required.
• Minimum 10 years in strategy, business development, or management consulting.
• Proven ability to conceptualize, plan, and execute complex initiatives.
• Strong financial modeling and market analysis skills.
• Hybrid work environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize new strategic opportunities aligned with goals.
• Develop business cases, project plans, and roadmaps for approved initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives on time and within budget.
• Perform market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies.
• Track KPIs and report progress to senior management.
• Facilitate strategy planning sessions with leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with external partners and consultants involved in initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate risks; develop contingency plans as needed.
