The role requires a Master’s in a related field, 10+ years in sports development or coaching, and stellar leadership. You will manage coaches, organize camps, collaborate with schools and clubs, and ensure safe, ethical athlete development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field (Sports Science, Management, or Education).
• 10+ years in sports development, coaching, or management with a proven track record.
• Strong strategic planning, program development and staff leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a long-term strategy for sports development across ages and disciplines.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and management of coaches and staff.
• Establish and maintain high standards for coaching, athlete welfare, and sports ethics.
• Identify, scout, and nurture promising athletic talent within the region.
• Organize and manage sporting events, tournaments, and development camps.
• Collaborate with educational institutions, sports bodies, and community organizations to expand reach and impact.
• Manage the sports development budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and seeking funding opportunities.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of development programs, reporting on KPIs.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and inclusivity in sports.
• Ensure compliance with national and international sports regulations and guidelines.
