Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors across South Africa. You will research accounts, identify decision makers and craft compelling outreach to set qualifying meetings for our Account Executives.

Own the top of the funnel using LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo, and Salesforce to maintain a clean pipeline. This is a full-time, remote role within SA, with a focus on thoughtful, personalized outreach and high-quality touches.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role or similar required.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools and platforms (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
• Comfortable using Salesforce and maintaining a clean pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. As Direct Sales Agent at Blacksmith, you own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

This is not about spamming a list. It is thoughtful outreach, pattern recognition and smart communication, using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while keeping every touchpoint high quality.

What You Will Own
