Job summary

Synergy Careers seeks a Diesel Mechanic in Westmead for a 3‑month contract with potential for permanent placement. Must have own tools and extensive maintenance experience on vehicles and commercial fleets, including diagnostics.

Responsibilities include service, repair, and preventive maintenance, equipment care, and planning repairs. Good communication in English and ability to work extended hours are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years general maintenance experience essential
• Service, repair and diagnostics knowledge / experience for vehicles and commercial vehicles (New and Old)
• Must have own set of tools
• Experience in Yellow Equipment

Responsibilities

• Service, Repair and diagnostics of vehicles
• Ensuring that scheduled daily and monthly maintenance is done on vehicles
• Overall care and maintenance of company assets
• Pro‑active planning of repairs and services of vehicles
• Starting jobs and finishing jobs on Mechanic Desk
