Job summary

Synergy Careers is seeking a skilled automotive technician for a 3 month contract with potential permanent placement. Responsibilities include service, repair and diagnostics of vehicles and ensuring daily and monthly maintenance schedules are followed.

Applicants must have Grade 12 / N2, preferably N3 or higher, at least five years maintenance experience, and experience with both light and commercial vehicles, plus must supply their own tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Grade 12 / N2, preferably N3 or higher technical qualification.
• Minimum five years general maintenance experience essential.
• Service, Repair and diagnostics knowledge / experience for all vehicles and commercial vehicles (New and Old).
• Experience in Yellow Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Service, Repair and diagnostics of vehicles
• Ensuring that scheduled daily and monthly maintenance is done on vehicles
• Overall care and maintenance of company assets
• Pro-active planning of repairs and services of vehicles
• Starting jobs and finishing jobs on Mechanic Desk
