A client of ours within the Transport and Logistics Sector is looking for an experienced and dedicated Diesel Mechanic who will ensure the smooth operation is achieved to join their dynamic and solid team

Requirements
  • Certification in Diesel Mechanics or related
  • Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems
  • Previous experience in transport or logistics environment
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with strong understanding of diesel engine systems
  • Experience in repairing and maintaining large commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues
  • A valid driver’s licence clean driving record
Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services on diesel engines or related components
  • Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and machinery to ensure proper operation
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and provide solutions for repair
  • Replace faulty components, such as fuel pumps, filters, and turbochargers
  • Ensure all repairs comply with safety and regulatory standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance works and parts used
  • Respond to breakdowns and provide on-site repairs when necessary
