Job summary

Our client in Johannesburg seeks an experienced Diesel Mechanic to service, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and generators. You will perform preventative maintenance, fault finding, attend breakdowns, and ensure reliability while delivering professional technical support.

Applicants must have a recognised trade test, at least 6 years’ hands-on experience in power generation or heavy equipment, a valid driver’s licence, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diesel mechanic with recognised trade test.
• Minimum 6 years' experience on diesel engines, generators or power-gen equipment.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, maintenance and repair experience.
• Valid driver's licence and ability to work independently under pressure with safety focus.

Responsibilities
