Samaha Consulting in Cape Town seeks an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to design and run CI/CD pipelines, deploy and manage Kubernetes workloads, and optimize containerized systems. The role emphasizes security, monitoring, and reliable release automation in an on-prem with cloud exposure environment.

You will work with Docker, GitHub, Helm, and observability tools like Grafana and Open Telemetry to ensure robust deployment pipelines and proactive incident response.

Qualificações

• 5–10 years of hands-on DevOps/Cloud experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads using Helm.
• Support and optimize containerized workloads with Docker.
• Configure Ingress Controllers and traffic routing for production apps.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Embed security and code-quality controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment and operational processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production and platform-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• 5 to 10 Years of experience required
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications running on Kubernetes using Helm Charts.
• Support and optimize containerized workloads using Docker.
• Configure and manage Ingress Controllers and traffic routing.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Integrate security and code-quality controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment and operational processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production and platform-related issues.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with:
