About the Role

Our client, a fast-paced software development company, is looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join their expanding technical team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within Polokwane, Limpopo, ZA , or other approved locations. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining the infrastructure and automation pipelines that enable rapid, reliable software delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong background in systems administration, automation, cloud technologies, and CI/CD practices. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline workflows, improve system reliability, and ensure the efficient deployment of applications. • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
