Placements24 is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join its IT team in Welkom. You will bridge development and operations, automate and streamline processes, and build tools for deployment, monitoring, and production support.

You will work with a modern stack, implement scalable CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud resources, and help improve reliability and performance across services in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in a DevOps or Systems Engineering role.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Familiar with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for production systems.

About the Role

This role is pivotal in enhancing our client's software development lifecycle by bridging the gap between development and operations. You will be responsible for automating and streamlining our operations and processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, and troubleshooting and resolving issues in our production environments. Key Responsibilities
