Responsibilities include designing CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform/Ansible, cloud monitoring, and maintaining Docker/Kubernetes based deployments, with a focus on security and efficiency in production systems.

Competenze

• 4+ years in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python) and IaC tooling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI.

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding technology solutions provider in Randburg , is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to enhance their cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. You will be instrumental in automating and streamlining our build, test, and deployment pipelines, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud environments. This role requires a proactive individual with expertise in cloud platforms, containerization, and infrastructure as code. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to foster a culture of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), driving efficiency and innovation within the Gauteng tech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application builds, testing, and deployments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for performance, availability, and cost optimization.
• Implement and maintain containerization solutions using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Ensure system security by implementing security best practices and monitoring for vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance in production environments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker ) and orchestration (Kubernetes ).
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) and experience with infrastructure as code tools.
