Job summary

Omnia Group Careers in Gauteng invites applications for an Assistant (IS Test Lab) to support daily pre-release QC sampling and detonator testing. You will assist with data administration, maintain lab hygiene and comply with safety procedures in a production environment.

Minimum requirements include Grade 12 (Maths and Science) and at least one year of QC sampling, laboratory and explosives production experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent (Maths and Science).
• 1 year demonstrated experience in Quality Control sampling and confirmation testing of detonators in a production environment.
• 1 year demonstrated experience in Laboratory environment.
• 1 year demonstrated experience in explosives production environment.
• Working knowledge of production and quality control principles.

Responsibilities

• To assist in the daily pre-release QC sampling and
• Confirmation testing of detonators and detonator assemblies' administration of test data
• Video capturing and analyses
• Good housekeeping and cleaning of laboratory actions
• Adherence to minimum safety standards and procedure
