Job summary

Tiger Brands in Rustenburg seeks a hands-on Despatch/Stock Controller to ensure daily stock accuracy, despatch goods efficiently and support month-end variance control.

The role requires Grade 12, 2–3 years’ experience, and computer literacy (Excel, Word, Mozaic). You should be punctual, reliable, team-focused, with strong attention to detail and good communication.

Qualifications

• Requirements - Grade 12.
• At least 2–3 years’ experience will be an advantage.
• Computer Literate (Microsoft Excel, Word, Mozaic).

Responsibilities

• Despatch goods and stock control; compare system stock vs physical stock daily.
• Stock receipt and despatch responsibilities.
• Stock control, rotation and reconciliation of invoices.
• Safety & quality: maintain hygiene and safe workplace practices; report hazards.
• Work improvements: participate in MECP/20keys style activities.

Despatch goods effectively and efficiently and to control stock so that the variances are acceptable at month end and year-end.

Despatching of Bread

• To compare systems stock against physical stock daily
• Stock receipt and despatch

Reconciliation

• Stock control and stock rotation
• Processing of invoices

Safety & Quality

• Utilize allocated cleaning materials in maintaining the high standard within the relevant work areaEnsure set hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.Ensure adherence to the Health and Safety regulations.Ensure allocated equipment is safe to operate and all safety features are operational.Ensure that all evident unsafe situations are reported, and attended to immediately.
• Ensure familiarisation and compliance with all company policies, practises and procedures and the manufacturing protocol
• Follows safe workplace practices and can report workplace hazards

Work Improvement

• Participate effectively in the Invocoms sessions.
• Participate and or identify non compliances to be addressed using the SGA process.Application of manufacturing Excellence Methodology i.e. MECP, 20keys.
• Participate in all MECP activities
