Job summary

The Provincial Treasury, Western Cape Government has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to provide for the implementation, management and oversight of national and provincial financial systems. This post is stationed in Cape Town.

An appropriate tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher) at NQF Level 6 or equivalent in Financial Management/Accounting/Supply Chain Management, Public Administration/Management/Information Technology; A

Qualifications

• Appropriate tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6 or higher) in Financial Management/Accounting/Supply Chain Management, Public Administration/Management/Information Technology.
• Minimum 3 years middle management level experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the implementation and maintenance of the financial systems including system access security and controls.
• Oversee the establishment and maintenance of uniform systems policies, norms and standards with governance and reporting mechanisms to enforce compliance.
• Plan and manage the work of the Subdirectorate and take accountability for overall performance; include people and financial management.
