Job summary

MedE Recruit is seeking a professional, well-presented Dental Receptionist for a well-established dental practice in Pretoria East. You will demonstrate excellent communication and telephone skills, with strong administrative and organisational abilities.

Key duties include welcoming patients, handling calls, scheduling appointments, preparing invoices and quotations, and sending treatment plans to patients.

Qualifications

• Previous Dental Reception experience.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Experience with patient billing, invoicing, and quotations.
• Experience booking and managing patient appointments.
• Ability to liaise professionally with dental laboratories.
• Comfortable placing material and stock orders when required.
• Experience sending treatment plans to patients.
• Computer literate.
• Experience with the Elixir billing system will be advantageous (training can be provided).
• Professional, reliable, and able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and managing the reception area.
