Placements24 is recruiting a Delivery Van Driver for operations in Cape Town. You will be responsible for daily delivery and pickup of packages across the Western Cape metropolitan area, representing the company with professionalism.

Join a dynamic, fast-paced team. A valid Code 10/C1 license, 2 years' van delivery experience, and good route knowledge of Cape Town are essential. Company vehicle provided and health insurance benefits available.

Qualifications

• Valid Code 10/C1 license (preferred).
• At least 2 years’ experience driving a light commercial vehicle for delivery.
• Good knowledge of the Cape Town road network and surrounding areas.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
• Professional attitude and strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Operate a light commercial vehicle (van) for delivery and pickup services.
• Plan daily routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries within time windows.
• Handle goods with care, ensuring proper loading, securing and delivery in good condition.
• Obtain signatures and confirm delivery details accurately.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery van.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or issues.
