Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Logistics Van Driver to support operations in Vereeniging and surrounding areas. You will transport goods, materials, and potentially personnel, ensuring on-time, safe deliveries and aiding with logistical coordination when needed.

This hybrid role combines on-road responsibilities with the possibility of remote logistics tasks, requiring strong navigation, proactive problem solving, and solid communication with dispatch and clients.

Qualifications

• Valid Code 10 (C1) driver's license with clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a van driver or in a similar delivery role.
• Familiarity with the Vereeniging area and surrounding transport routes.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Basic computer literacy for logging and communication.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company van for the delivery and collection of goods in the Vereeniging region.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, adapting to changing conditions.
• Ensure the secure and safe handling of all cargo during transport.
• Maintain accurate delivery manifests and electronic logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members.
• Assist with inventory management or other logistical support tasks as required, potentially remotely.
