Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Delivery Team Lead to oversee operations at the Stellenbosch logistics hub. You will lead and mentor delivery drivers, coordinate daily routes, and drive improvements to service levels across the Western Cape.

The role requires a valid Code 10 license with at least 3 years of driving experience, plus proven supervisory experience in logistics. You will ensure safety, compliance, and effective communication with customers while working in a hybrid

Qualifications

• 3+ years driving experience with a valid Code 10 license.
• Experience in a supervisory or team-lead role in logistics or delivery.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Stellenbosch area and surrounding regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of delivery drivers.
• Coordinate daily delivery schedules for timely service.
• Monitor team performance and implement improvements.
• Hold regular meetings on operations, safety and metrics.
• Resolve escalated customer service and delivery issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and driving standards.
