Job summary

Placements24 in Pretoria is seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Supervisor to oversee a team of delivery drivers in a dynamic hybrid role, coordinating route planning, performance monitoring, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high customer service standards.

You will liaise between drivers, warehouse staff, and management, optimize routes daily, address issues promptly, ensure safety compliance, and contribute to overall supply chain effectiveness with flexible office/field

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years in delivery operations or logistics supervision.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong knowledge of route planning and optimization techniques.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage a team of delivery drivers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
Develop and optimize daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize transit times.
Monitor driver performance, adherence to schedules, and customer service standards.
Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely loading.
Address and resolve delivery issues, customer complaints, and operational challenges promptly.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies for drivers and vehicles.
