Job summary

The Building Company is seeking a permanent Delivery Driver in Hermanus to transport goods to customers, ensuring safe handling and loading practices. The role requires stocking, COD collections and strong customer service to uphold our company values.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle checks, accurate delivery notes, and maintaining vehicle condition while delivering on time and in full. Grade 12 with Code 10/8 and at least 2 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and driving codes (HV/LV) as required.
• 2 years of relevant delivery/driver experience.
• Proven ability to handle loading, unloading and COD collections.

Responsibilities

• Delivering goods to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Ensuring the vehicle is neatly packed and well maintained.
• Preventing damages and breakages during transport.
• Supervising and assisting with loading operations.
• Performing daily vehicle inspection checks and reporting defects.
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and upkeep.
• Supplying correct quantities and materials as per orders.
• Assist with delivery notes and COD collections.
