Job summary
Placements24 in Richards Bay is seeking an experienced DeFi Product Manager to lead the development of innovative decentralized finance products. You will define the product strategy, roadmap and feature set for new DeFi offerings, working closely with engineering, marketing and business development teams.
The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of DeFi protocols, blockchain tech and smart contracts, plus strong communication and planning skills, with relocation support available for Richards Bay
Qualifications
- Experience as a Product Manager with financial products or technology.
- Deep knowledge of DeFi protocols, concepts and market trends.
- Strong understanding of blockchain, smart contracts and cryptocurrency.
- Experience in user research, market analysis and roadmap development.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, strategy and roadmap for DeFi offerings.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
- Translate strategy into detailed specifications and user stories for engineering.
- Prioritize features and manage the backlog to maximize value.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing and legal for launches.
- Monitor performance, gather feedback and iterate to drive growth.
