Job summary

ATS Client in Stellenbosch, near Cape Town, is seeking a Data Scientist with strong GCP experience to analyze complex datasets, build predictive models and develop dashboards that support data-driven decision making.

You will collect and clean data, perform exploratory analysis, translate business questions into analytical solutions, and present findings to stakeholders while ensuring governance and security standards.

Qualifications

In this role, you will analyze complex data sets, create insightful visualizations, and work closely with stakeholders to develop solutions that support data‑driven decision‑making. You will be responsible for extracting insights, identifying trends, building predictive models and presenting findings to enhance operational efficiency and optimize business processes.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to handle and analyze large datasets efficiently.
• Experience with statistical analysis techniques and data modeling.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data manipulation tools.
• Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
