Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field such as CS, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science.
• 5+ years of professional data science experience, preferably in mining or related industries.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or R.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with big data tech (Spark/Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Solid grounding in statistical modeling, ML algorithms, and experimental design.
• Excellent problem solving, communication, and remote collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a distributed team.
