Job summary

Games Global is seeking a Data Scientist to power data-driven decision-making across the Central Intelligence Solutions team in Cape Town. You will develop analytical solutions, build predictive models, and create dashboards to drive business outcomes.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage data governance, and contribute to end-to-end data projects, applying statistical methods and modern ML techniques to gaming analytics.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Mathematician, Statistician, or Computer Scientist.
• Hands-on SQL experience (SSMS/Snowflake).
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R.
• Experience with GitHub/GitLab repositories.
• Ability to explore, transform, visualize, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Strong communication of technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Solid understanding of data structures, databases, and query optimization.
